Groundswell MMA was originally founded as The Fort MMA in 2013 and rebranded in 2022. For over a decade, the academy has been a cornerstone of the Frederick community. With a commitment to excellence, it has provided premium martial arts coaching and an amazing environment that pushes its members to be the best version of themselves. This commitment to excellence has resulted in “The Best of Frederick” wins in the category of Best Martial Arts School in both 2021 and 2023.

Can't say enough positive things about this gym. I've trained all over the country and had an amazing experience here. Zach Davis and his team were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the gym was super clean. If you live in the area, I highly recommend that you check them out.
